Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19

One of the most important factors in leading a young person to Christ is the discipleship process. Save the Youth of America has a three step approach to discipleship: passion, purpose, and preaching. From the moment someone is saved we begin to teach them to read the Word of God, to pray, and to become passionate about Jesus.
Through relationship with Christ all other aspects of Christianity fall into place from going to church and obeying God's commands.
Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. John 14:23
Jesus came to bring a relationship with the Father for a lost and dying world. Save the Youth has seen that the young people that are in love with Christ will read their bible, show up to youth group, leave behind sin, and take up their cross to follow Jesus.
Since the youth under 30 are a media generation much of the discipleship process is through email, video, text, and television. At the same time we encourage and foster the local leadership to mentor the new believers.
Campus pastors and youth pastors are trained to immediately pour into the new believer. This generation is about relationships and is looking for true love. Through Christ we pour in the oil and the wine into the life of the new believer.
Once the new believer is full of passion for their Saviour the focus changes to their purpose and destiny. They have a God given destiny unique to them and they have been given the purpose given to all believers "to preach the Gospel". At this point we begin to equip and send the believer to the lost world around them.
