Just do it. Often times the hardest part of evangelism is just showing up. There is a great need to reach this lost generation and the hardest part is showing up. You need to make a decision to do something and no longer walk by the problem. Have you ever walked by a piece of trash and said someone else will pick it up. In the same way, it is easy to walk past the spiritual mess taking place in this generation and leave it to someone else. Make the decision to show up.

The situation is overwhelming. Where do I begin?. The first place every believer must start in changing the statistics in America is in prayer. We must cry out to God to touch this lost generation in America. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." God promises that if we seek Him in prayer that He will hear from heaven and heal this land. God answers prayer, join the believers praying for our nation today.

The next step is to act in your finances and give. Give to any organization that is reaching the young people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If an army has a lack of funds it can make little impact. MTV and the producers of Hollywood are flush with cash to spew their lies. Imagine the impact the church would make in this generation if millions of believers gave to ministries reaching the lost through all modern means of communication. The impact would be noticeable in effect, quality and immediate results. Give today and send laborers to reach this lost generation.

The next step is acting in your area. Get involved with your local youth group or help finance local evangelistic events in your area. Give of yourself to this lost generation. Volunteer with a ministry that is reaching this lost generation for Christ on a weekly basis or volunteer at a Save the Youth of America event in your area. Look for an opportunity to reach the young people in your neighborhood.

Make a friend with a young person, This younger generation is looking for people that are real and care. This is a fatherless generation and in need of love. Find a young person to minister to by showing the love of Christ. Take them out for coffee or to a movie. Meet with them monthly or weekly depending on your schedule. Make the time to change a life. Invest your time in the next generation by raising up a disciple of Christ.

Lastly, remember the important things in life; our relationship with God, and our relationship with others. In the end of our lives the only thing that will matter is our relationship with God through Christ Jesus and the people we touched for Him. Love God and love others this should be the core of our lives. Think with eternal purpose today and help SAVE A LIFE .
